Beer

The objective here was to create a series of three posters for Bud Light in order to promote their flagship glass bottled beer. I was required to create a catchy slogan to go along with each poster in order to make the viewing experience more engaging and memorable for the customer.

Finding the
Right angle

I decided to go for a more light hearted and comedic approach. After lots of trial and error I came up with three puns using the word “bud” in different ways. I used a heavy slab serif font to convey the message as I felt it represented the Bud Light brand identity quite well.

For each pun, three words are highlighted in bold in order to increase the power of the message and make the key takeaways more memorable. The typography was combined with a series of three high quality photographs, all following the theme of their respective puns.

The END
Result

The final ad campaign looks quite convincing and matches the energy and values of the target audience. It makes a good use of subliminal messaging to get the point across more effectively.
